Ann Medlock on Public
Radio
A
selection of scripts 1991-1997
The Project's founder was for years a commentator on KPLU, the jazz and news public
radio station that plays in hundreds of thousands of northwest homes and
offices. Her writing and delivery won the station awards and evoked spirited
responses from listeners—but only in this area; KPLU thought she should be
heard nationally, but so far NPR hasn't gotten on board.
Because
you may not have been tuned to FM 88.5 every time she was on, we're having an
audiotape edited and duplicated. In the meantime, here are some of her thoughtful,
challenging, funny scripts.
