David Levitt of Seminole FL was told that adults had already failed to get his school to donate unserved cafeteria food to homeless shelters. Undaunted, he took the idea to the school board and got agreement that all 92 schools in the county would donate. He continued to get donations, even telling guests to bring food donations to his bar mitzvah. Local reports of his work have brought him taunts from other students, none of which slowed him down.
