Thirty-five years of military service haven't protected Doug Rokke from attacks on his character and on the accuracy of his research. Rokke headed an Army study of depleted uranium (DU) weaponry, which he favored until discovering alarming long-term effects. Gravely ill himself from his field exposure to DU, Rokke is campaigning to have the military care for the thousands of veterans and civilians exposed to DU, and to cease its use forever.
