$1500 is all it costs to “sponsor” everything that happens at Giraffe Headquarters for a full workday—the research and writing, the tech support, the phones, the lights, the rent, the payroll.

You can name the day in honor or in memory of someone important to you, and your sponsorship will be announced on the home page of our website like the graphic below.

We know not everybody can make an investment that size and we receive smaller gifts with warmest appreciation. Here are some alternatives smaller than day sponsorship:

• $50 pays for using the Teachers Without Borders network to coach one teacher—across the world or in Oakland—as she launches her students into the Giraffe Heroes Program.
  
  
• $100 covers creating a blog that’s picked up by sites where thousands of people get a Giraffe message. (We write fast.)
  
  
• $250 underwrites researching one new Giraffe, writing the story and uploading it to the website.
  
  
• $500 buys copies of Voices of Hope, an anthology of Giraffe Heroes stories, for the kids in three middle-school classrooms.
